About Dr. Davidson
I am a California licensed clinical psychologist (PSY27728) specializing in the treatment of anxiety and stress. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, university counseling centers, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Harvard College and then worked for 10+ years as a Web developer before returning to school to study clinical psychology. I completed my masters and doctorate degrees at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, went on to a pre-doctoral internship at University of Colorado at Boulder, and then obtained a post-doctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente. I served as a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor at Kaiser through 2019, where I trained post-doctoral fellows and led several treatment programs.
I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of worry that is difficult to control, social anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, OCD, work stress / burnout, and insomnia. Given my own career transition, I also enjoy working with individuals who are considering a job change or shift.
I am a California native, and though I lived on the East Coast for many years, I feel grateful to have now returned home to California and the Bay Area. I love spending time in nature, and enjoy gardening, hiking with my dog, music, and reading mystery novels. Like my clients, I have experienced the full range of joys and sorrows that life can bring, and appreciate the challenges and insights that can come with being human.
